ORLANDO, Fla.--(Tourico Holidays, a worldwide travel wholesaler with a strong philanthropic mission to support critically ill children, today announced that it has presented a check for $40,000 to Give Kids The World Village, a non-profit organization that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world. In conjunction with the check presentation, Tourico Holidays also announced the next initiative of its Corporate Responsibility Program by inviting its global network of hotel, attraction, and client partners to join in the support of Give Kids The World Village.)--

Tourico Holidays challenged its partners to match its donation by committing $3 for every hotel night or attraction booked in October 2012 for travel between November 2012 and February 2013. The booking program aims to raise approximately $80,000 for Give Kids The World by participating partners matching Tourico Holidays’ commitment dollar-for-dollar. Client partners who book these great deals are also invited to provide a matching donation.

In June of this year, Tourico Holidays announced that it adopted Give Kids the World Village as its official philanthropic partner. To date, Tourico employees have already volunteered over 120 hours and raised over $6,000, all of which is matched by the company.
