In January 2010, SoundHound rebranded and had 2 million users. Now, with over 100 million users, SoundHound is seeing new users download the app at an average rate of more than 200,000 per day on the two dominant mobile platforms, iOS and Android, with a peak record of 1 million new users in one day already achieved.

SoundHound users are deeply engaged and social as they spend a significant amount of time within the app during each visit and frequently share music finds with friends through the embedded social networking tools.
