LifeSize Video Endpoints Now Rated “Avaya Compliant”

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LifeSize, a division of Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI) (SIX: LOGN) and a world leader in HD video collaboration, today announced that its LifeSize 220 endpoint products (LifeSize® Team 220™, LifeSize® Room 220™ and LifeSize® Express 220™) as well as LifeSize® Passport™, LifeSize® Passport Connect™ and LifeSize® Bridge™ are compliant with leading IP telephony solutions from Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communication solutions.

These LifeSize solutions are built to help businesses collaborate across the enterprise over HD video conferencing with anyone, anywhere, while pushing the boundaries of ease of use, mobility and accessibility. These applications have been compliance tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura® Session Manager 6.1 and Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 6.0.1, which demonstrates the open, standards-based Avaya Aura architecture model. They have been further tested with Avaya one-X® Communicator 6.1.3. LifeSize 220 endpoints, LifeSize® Passport™, and LifeSize® Passport Connect™ were also tested with Avaya Desktop Video Device (ADVD) 1.1.

There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
