Acumatica Names Microsoft Exec Yury Larichev as Chief Operating Officer

Larichev will leverage expertise from Microsoft mid-market to drive adoption of Acumatica’s award-winning cloud-based ERP software

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acumatica, a leading global provider of cloud enterprise resource Planning (ERP) and financial software, today announced the appointment of Yury Larichev as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective September 18, 2012.

Mr. Larichev joins Acumatica from Microsoft corporate HQ in Redmond, where he served as General Manager, Worldwide SMB Sales & Marketing Operations. In that role he led Microsoft’s field sales enablement and customer life cycle strategy, driving adoption of on-premises and cloud software by Small and Mid-Size Businesses. At Acumatica, Yury will oversee the day-to-day operations of its cloud-based software development, marketing, product support and sales through Acumatica’s fast growing channel partner network.

Larichev’s career spans more than 15 years in the software business. Before leading Microsoft’s Worldwide SMB Sales & Marketing Operations he was Director of Small Midmarket & Partners Group in Microsoft Russia. Previously, he was CEO for Unicum Group, the largest European manufacturer of gaming machines and casino management systems, and a partner with Pathfinder WW Ltd.
