VITEC Announces the Availability of the Focus FS-T2001 Portable HD Media Recorder

The Focus FS-T2001 is designed as a Field deck for both recording and playback of XDCAM files. FS-T2001 incorporates the complete range of Sony professional recording formats including 50Mbps MPEG HD422 and XDCAM EX/HD. FS-T2001 supports removable professional media: SxSPro, SxS-1 and SDHC cards1. FS-T2001 also has 250GB of internal storage for either recording or management/storage.

FS-T2001 is also a versatile playback device with a complete set of features and outputs. The intuitive clip thumbnail menu makes it simple to find and play back recorded video clips. These clips can be viewed on either the FS-T2001 LCD screen and/or from an external SDI or HDMI monitor.

The Focus FS-T2001 offers the ability to manage recorded video clips in many different ways: copy clips from one card to another or to the FS-T2001 250GB HDD, transfer clips from the FS-T2001 to a computer via USB cable, share content over the network (FTP/SMB) via Ethernet connection.
