Opus Bank Announces Openings of Banking Offices in Danville and Del Mar, California

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Opus Bank (the “Bank”) announced today the openings of two new banking offices in the cities of Danville, located in Contra Costa County, and Del Mar, located in San Diego County. The new Danville banking office is the Bank’s first in Northern California and is led by Rey Garcia, Vice President, Retail Banking Manager. The new Del Mar banking office is the Bank’s second in San Diego County, will complement the Bank’s La Jolla banking office, and is led by Brenda Boggioni, Vice President, Retail Banking Manager.

Mr. Garcia joins Opus Bank most recently from Union Bank, and has 12 years of diverse banking and branch management experience with financial institutions including Western Federal Credit Union, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Bank of America.

Ms. Boggioni joined Opus Bank in November 2011 and has over 25 years of banking and financial management experience with community, regional, and national banks including U.S. Bank, San Diego National Bank, Union Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Security Pacific Bank. Ms. Boggioni also serves as the Retail Banking Manager for the Bank’s La Jolla banking office.
