SunLink Health Systems Subsidiaries Open Senior Behavioral Care Units in Dahlonega, GA and Fulton, MO

ATLANTA--()--SunLink Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: SSY) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chestatee Regional Hospital, opened Changing Seasons, a 10-bed geriatric psychiatric unit in Dahlonega, GA, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Callaway Community Hospital opened Kingdom Senior Solutions, a 19-bed geriatric psychiatric unit in Fulton, MO.

Chestatee’s Changing Seasons unit is a new service for individuals coping with life issues relating to senior years. The 10-bed inpatient program resulted from renovations in the existing hospital which have been under development for the past several months and began admitting patients on July 2, 2012. Changing Seasons is unique for the Chestatee region and serves communities in Lumpkin, Dawson, White and nearby counties.

Callaway’s Kingdom Senior Solutions, is also a new service for individuals coping with life issues relating to the senior years. Kingdom Senior Solutions 19-bed inpatient program is the culmination of the extensive renovation of two hospital wings which have been under development for the past several months and began seeing patients on June 28, 2012. Kingdom Senior Solutions is unique for the Fulton and Callaway County Communities as well as the Kingdom area.
