SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Essential Learning, LLC (“Essential Learning”) announces the appointment of Rick Rattray as President. In his role as President, Rattray has been responsible for leading the company and its day-to-day operations.
Rattray joined Essential Learning earlier this year from Kaplan where he was most recently the General Manager of Colloquy, a division of Kaplan which he co-founded in 2008, and helped grow to become a leading partner to global universities in the field of online program delivery and support. Prior to Colloquy, Rattray led Strategic Programs for Kaplan Higher Education where he was instrumental in growing that training and development business by nearly 300% in two years. Before joining Kaplan, Rattray held several positions in business development, marketing and operations with Xerox and BlackBox Networks.
