Fiskars’ patented Fuse Creativity System® builds on Fiskars’ expertise in paper crafting tools and 363-year history for delivering innovative products. Fiskars Fuse exceeds basic die-cutting functionality through product innovation and consumer-inspired features:
- Die-cut and letterpress in one pass: the ability to cut, press and color in one pass through the machine enables users to get more done in one step; combine or isolate techniques to achieve five different results with one design set
- 12” cut width: accommodates 12” materials or multiple dies in one pass
- Cuts thicker materials: steel rule dies cut thicker materials including chipboard, foam, fabric and light metal
- Cuts intricate designs: photo etched dies cut cardstock and paper-based mediums and achieve more intricate designs
- Compact for storage and portability: contains built-in carrying handle; base folds and crank swings in and locks for easy storage and portability
- Built-in storage: oversized deck opens to store two medium dies or cutting plates

Medium design sets (4” x 5”) made up of one cutting die with a labeled lid and two letterpress plates as well as letterpress plate expansion packs (containing four letterpress plates) will be launched in coordination with Fiskars Fuse. All design plates are validated with consumers and multiple letterpress plates can be used in one basic cutting die shape to expand the die’s versatility. Fiskars Fuse Adapter Kit, which includes the cutting bases and instructions to use competitive dies in Fiskars Fuse will also be available.
The special HSN world launch Fuse Creativity System® starter set includes the machine, two steel-rule design sets, one photo etched-design set, two special letterpress plate expansion packs, one ink pad, a cutting plate with a rubber mat and a base plate. Fiskars Fuse Adapter Kit and a set of 10 HSN exclusive ink pads can be purchased separately.
Following the world launch on HSN June 18, Fiskars Fuse Creativity System® will be available at JoAnn and select Michaels stores in late July and early August 2012.
