NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TMC announced that Ray Dolan, President and CEO of Sonus Networks, will deliver the morning keynote address at ITEXPO Austin on Thursday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. CDT. ITEXPO, the world’s largest and best-attended communications and technology trade show, is being held October 2-5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

Dolan joined Sonus as President and CEO in 2010. Previously, he served as a Senior Vice President of QUALCOMM Incorporated. Prior to its acquisition by QUALCOMM in 2006, Dolan served as Chairman and CEO of Flarion, a developer of mobile broadband communications technologies. From 1996 to 2000, he was Chief Operating Officer of NextWave Telecom. He also spent eight years at BellAtlantic/NYNEX Mobile (predecessor to the current Verizon), serving in numerous roles of increasing responsibility. Dolan began his career in the telecommunications industry at PacTel Cellular.

Dolan served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent more than seven years as a tactical jet pilot. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds a M.B.A. from the Columbia University School of Business.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Sonus and the American Tower Corporation.
