Datalink Deploys Virtual Data Center Infrastructure at Velocitor Solutions

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Datalink (NASDAQ: DTLK), a leading provider of data center infrastructure and services, today announced the completion of a $1.1M unified virtual data center (VDC) infrastructure deployment for Velocitor Solutions, a Charlotte, N.C.-based mobile/wireless software as a service (SaaS) vendor serving transportation/logistics, direct-store-delivery, field service and field sales customers. The new data center environment will enable Velocitor to quickly add SaaS capacity for company services ranging from mobile accounting to GPS vehicle tracking, help ensure 24x7 application availability, and support Velocitor’s internal staff.

FlexPod is a pre-tested, optimized and pre-validated data center solution supported by Datalink as part of the company’s VDC migration strategy for large and midmarket enterprises.

Datalink is also providing its OneCall^SM Unified Support services to supplement original equipment manufacturer (OEM) support programs and provide streamlined solution-level assessment and resolution. Leveraging the support services teams, best practices, and data center expertise of OneCall, Datalink will assume ownership of each reported incident, conduct initial triages, and resolve issues. Should incidents be escalated to OEMs, Datalink will shepherd all incidents until a resolution is achieved.
