Shashi Mehrotra appointed as President

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Legend Advisory Corporation announced today they have appointed Shashi Mehrotra as President. Mr. Mehrotra will continue to serve as the Chief Investment Officer for Legend Advisory Corporation. In his expanded role, Mr. Mehrotra will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations and business development. He brings 17 years of experience with the company, having served as Executive Vice President and CIO for the last 5 years. Shashi Mehrotra oversees more than $1.77 billion in assets (as of 3/31/12), and is a pioneer in the application of artificial intelligence to the field of investment management.

Mr. Mehrotra received a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University in 1994. He received a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Osmania, Hyderabad, India in 1989. Mr. Mehrotra holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the South Florida Financial Analyst Society. He actively participates as a member of the Investment Management Committee of GenSpring Family Offices, LLC, an affiliate of SunTrust Banks, Inc.
