West Monroe Partners Completes Pro-bono Technology Project for ADWAS (Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services)

Project Strengthens ADWAS’s IT Infrastructure, Provides Stable Foundation for Growth

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has completed a pro-bono project for Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services (ADWAS) in Seattle. West Monroe Partners provided services to help stabilize and improve ADWAS’s technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable communication between the organization and its residents and stakeholders.

“Social responsibility and building vibrant communities is very important to our organization and our people, and working with ADWAS to enable its services and growth is one way that we have been able to make an impact in Seattle.”

West Monroe Partners conducted an IT assessment and developed a plan for improving ADWAS’s technology infrastructure over time to meet growth goals. In addition, West Monroe implemented several short-term improvements, including implementing several data-security best practices and improving reliability of Internet and videoconferencing services.

“We are pleased to have this opportunity to contribute some of West Monroe’s core business and technology skills and our time to benefit an organization that plays a vital role in our community,” said Jerin May, a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Technology Solutions practice, based in Seattle. “Social responsibility and building vibrant communities is very important to our organization and our people, and working with ADWAS to enable its services and growth is one way that we have been able to make an impact in Seattle.”

“West Monroe Partners’ broad IT expertise and experience working with organizations that manage and maintain sensitive data was extremely important to us,” said Tiffany Williams, executive director for ADWAS. “The firm’s work provided us with a stable IT environment, with appropriate capabilities and services for supporting our longer-term business goals and the ability to launch a new website in May.”

West Monroe Partners announced an ambitious social and environmental responsibility commitment in early 2011. Following on the leadership efforts of its clients and business partners, West Monroe strives to contribute one percent of its talent in pro-bono work, one percent of its profits in donations to qualifying organizations, and one percent of its collective personnel time to community engagement and leadership activities.
