Clarizen Unveils Mobile Ecosystem Designed for Anytime, Anywhere Project Management

Mobile applications and web-based Clarizen Anywhere increase connectivity and produce real-time updates for project team performance

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clarizen, the award-winning project execution software company, today announced it has further enhanced its mobile capabilities with the launch of an Android application to go alongside the existing iPhone application. Additionally, Clarizen has also released a web-based toolbar and web based add-in to Outlook called Clarizen Anywhere that gives users real-time access to their Clarizen tasks and projects without logging in to the Clarizen environment.

The Android app now enables Android users to have the critical set of functionalities in the field as they would using their personal computers. The application, already available for iPhone users, will give mobile users the ability to manage projects outside the office by easily viewing and modifying tasks, reporting timesheets and creating new action items to share with colleagues. In addition, this real-time project management system allows for instantaneous updates and problem solving as well as the ability to collaborate with team members.

As part of the mobile experience, Clarizen introduced Clarizen Anywhere, an Outlook add-in and a browser-based toolbar. Available in the Clarizen App Marketplace, Clarizen Anywhere allows users to easily manage and monitor their tasks and report their timesheets as well as create and assign new tasks through a convenient browser popup. This toolbar is compatible with all Internet browsers.
