Nuance’s Dragon Go! for iPhone Now Helps You Find TV Shows, Movies and More from Hulu Plus

Changing the Way Consumers Find and Experience Content with Natural Language Understanding, Dragon Go! for iOS Adds Popular Video Service to its Expanding List of Content Providers

BURLINGTON, Mass.--()--Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) today announced that its revolutionary Dragon Go! app for iPhone and iPod touch now lets Hulu Plus subscribers access current season TV shows and popular movies via voice recognition. Hulu Plus joins more than 200 content providers that make Dragon Go! the go-to mobile concierge that’s changing the way consumers find and experience mobile content.

“Mobile consumers are demanding a search experience that does more than just serve up a list of blue links – they want direct access to relevant content,” said Michael Thompson, senior vice president and general manager, Nuance Mobile. “And by working with more than 200 of the most trusted content providers like Hulu Plus, consumers can watch, listen to and find just about anything from anywhere, just by speaking naturally.”

Dragon Go!’s unique combination of Nuance’s Dragon voice recognition and innovative natural language understanding results in an app that not only hears what people say, but what they mean. So rather than scrolling through a long list of links to find content or search results, people simply get instant access to the most relevant content and knowledge on the mobile Web. Dragon Go!’s unique, open design also gives consumers and content providers an experience that maintains each brand’s familiar look and feel.

Dragon Go! lets consumers say virtually anything and immediately jump to relevant destinations. Hulu Plus subscribers can say, “Watch Modern Family,” “Find Saturday Night Live skits,” or “Watch Age of the Dragons,” and begin watching their favorite shows and movies right on their iPhone or iPod touch.

Dragon Go! features the largest direct-access content ecosystem in mobile today, with content provided by AccuWeather, Ask.com, Bing, Dictionary.com, ESPN, Expedia, Facebook, Fandango, Last.fm, LiveNation, Milo.com, OpenTable, Pandora® internet radio, Rotten Tomatoes, Spotify, Twitter, Wikipedia, Wolfram|Alpha, Yelp, YouTube, Yahoo! and many others – and now Hulu Plus.

Dragon Go! for iPhone and iPod touch is available for free in the Apple App Store U.S. in U.S. English.

Dragon Go! is currently available for both iOS and Android, and is a part of the Dragon Mobile Apps family, which includes the FlexT9 application for Android, Swype, Dragon Dictation and original Dragon Search apps for iOS.
