Goodwin Procter Names Lorey Hoffman as Chief Information Officer

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, today announced the appointment of Lorey Hoffman as Chief Information Officer. Hoffman joins the firm from Akin Gump, where he had served as CIO since 2008. In addition to overseeing the firm’s Information Technology function, Hoffman will also be responsible for management of Goodwin’s Knowledge Management, Research and Library Services, and Litigation Technology groups.

Hoffman’s background includes nearly 30 years of broad-based business and technology experience in senior management positions with organizations including global insurance firm AON, KPMG Peat Marwick, Canada’s Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and the U.S. Department of the Treasury/Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
