Moriah Murphy Joins Heartland Payment Systems as a Director of Marketing in Tallahassee Region

PRINCETON, N.J.--()--Heartland Payment Systems® (NYSE: HPY), one of the nation’s largest payments processors, has named Moriah Murphy as a director of marketing. With broad marketing experience from her work with various companies and Florida associations, Murphy will lead Heartland’s launch of city-specific immersive marketing and recruitment campaigns, while also pursuing state government and other niche market business in the Tallahassee, Fla., region.

Prior to joining Heartland, Murphy worked with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, founded the Florida Association of Beauty Professionals, co-owned and operated a small craft beer company, and worked as a marketing consultant for a leading insurance carrier. As a testament to her leadership skills, Murphy delivered the keynote address at Florida International University’s “Women Who Lead” Conference in 2008.

A resident of Tallahassee, Murphy has also written numerous stories in various newspapers, trade and consumer magazines, websites and newsletters. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and communications from Florida State University.
