SAN FRANCISCO--()--Endorse Liberty, a super PAC supporting Ron Paul for President, announced today that influential leaders from the technology industry have joined the group’s mission to send Ron Paul to the Oval Office in 2012. Tech industry leaders who are advancing the cause include entrepreneurs and investors Peter Thiel, Luke Nosek, Scott Banister, Stephen Oskoui, Jeffrey Harmon, James O’Neill, and Jonathan Cain.
“Our political system doesn’t understand it, but Americans need new innovation in every industry, and innovation depends on freedom, not overregulation. Economic growth is one of many reasons to endorse liberty.”
“Too often in this country we learn things the hard way—whether it’s putting your nest egg in overvalued stocks, borrowing more than your house is worth, or amassing a mountain of student debt to pay for a degree with no real job prospects,” said Peter Thiel. “With its unsustainable deficits, government spending is heading down the same path. Men and women who want freedom and growth should take action. A good place to start is voting for Ron Paul.”
“Like many Americans—Republican, Democrat, and independent—we know President Paul would protect civil liberties, refocus our military and space spending on national defense, and let innovators pursue new technologies and create jobs,” said Scott Banister.

To date, Endorse Liberty raised $3.9 million for online advertising in key primary and caucus states. Videos on the group’s “Fake Politicians’ Channel” on YouTube, which bring a humorous perspective to presidential candidates’ views, and the group’s official YouTube channel have been viewed more than 10 million times.
“Paul’s campaign has already brought concern about America’s faltering place in the world from the periphery to the top tier of a major party. Across the political spectrum there is a great deal of sympathy for causes such as the harmful influence of Capitol Hill and Wall Street on each other; the dangers of deficits, bailouts, and bubbles; and the disappearing rights of Americans,” said James O’Neill. “It’s time to unite left and right not just to challenge the status quo, but to replace it with liberty.”
