At-Risk Business Leaders Suit-up for Sustainability Boot Camp

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A knowledge gap threatens the mid-market’s ability to compete, and it’s the reason a Sustainability Boot Camp is aimed squarely at their business leaders.

A leadership knowledge gap

This seven-hour program is desperately needed to bridge the leadership gap. Leaders don’t have time to sort through the maize of sustainability material in the public domain. There’s no shortage of training for hands-on sustainability professionals. But there’s limited options for the leaders themselves. “For a leader seeking a fast but effective strategic perspective, there’s a serious gap and urgent need,” says Liza Horowitz, VP Sustainability, BMIR.

To address this gap, Leapfrog Sustainability Inc., Herman Miller Canada, Canadian Manufacturing and BMIR collaborated, with thanks to the Centre for Environment, University of Toronto, on a one-day boot camp for business leaders. The first session goes live February 22.
