NEW YORK--()--Unified Field, the prestigious digital design agency headquartered in New York City, experienced unprecedented growth and performance for the second-half of the fiscal year 2011.
“We are currently developing real-time virus tracking software for the Global Virus Network that will keep the GVN at forefront of technology in their field.”
This year their diverse clientele has included the National Park Service, Western Union, The Natural History Museum of L.A. County, The Nevada Discovery Center, Passur Aerospace, the Wildlife Conservation Society, General Electric, Sony, and the Global Virus Network.
The Global Virus Network (GVN), an international authority on the identification, investigation, and control of viral diseases posing threats to mankind, chose Unified Field to develop their digital presence.
“It is my belief that innovation, creative implementation and compelling information will always remain in style,” says Unified Field Managing Partner Eli Kuslansky. “We are currently developing real-time virus tracking software for the Global Virus Network that will keep the GVN at forefront of technology in their field.”
The Global Virus Network is an association of medical virologists founded in 2011 by renowned co-discoverer of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and developer of the HIV blood test, Dr. Robert Gallo. The organization commissioned Unified Field to establish their web presence, including the design and development of their website, www.gvn.org.
Following the launch of their site, the Global Virus Network invited Mr. Kuslansky to speak at the organization’s bi-annual meeting in Dublin, Ireland where he presented GVN’s new website and its real-time virus tracking software in front of over 60 of the world’s top virologists.
While in Dublin, Mr. Kuslansky was invited by Trinity College to give a lecture entitled Make it Real, for students, faculty and digital design professionals. His lecture discussed interactive graphics, 3D technology, and cross-channel integration which delivers an immersive experience for the viewer.
After attending the lecture, Dr. John Dingliana of Trinity College stated, “Mr. Kuslansky brought his unique expertise to Trinity College for his discussion on technology. My team was extremely entertained and enlightened by the passion and knowledge conveyed during the lecture.”
After completing the Global Virus Network’s website, Unified Field created the unique Music Mixer interactive table for the Sony Wonder Technology Lab in midtown Manhattan to highlight the music of multi-Grammy® Award winner Alicia Keys.
The exhibit’s interactive table allows up to six visitors to collaborate on a “remix” of Keys’ 2009 hit “Empire State of Mind (Part II)”, by adding a variety of instrumental tracks and effects. The Music Mixer uses an innovative combination of touch-table technology and physical “audio blocks” to encourage visitors of all ages to put their own spin on the Grammy® Award winning tune.
More recently, Unified Field designed and developed twenty-two interactive games for the Dimenna Children's History Museum, which was part of the New York Historical Society’s three year $65 million renovation. In addition to the games, Unified Field designed the digital signage for the entire museum.
Unified Field is currently negotiating with several companies and organizations regarding their digital needs, and expects that upcoming Unified Field projects will involve brand new uses for real-time visualization, location-based applications, and above all else, interactive technology.
Says Mr. Kuslansky: “Whether it’s a media installation, website, application or mobile platform, interactive technology will dominate the business world in 2012, and our team is determined to lead the charge.”
