LifeWise Health Plan of Washington Brings Members First Time Access to Mobile Tool for Managing Their Health Plan

First set of features offers members “Find a Doctor” tool and mobile proof of coverage

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LifeWise Health Plan of Washington today announced the debut of “LifeWise Mobile,” a suite of tools that LifeWise members can access directly from their mobile phones for on-the-go access to health plan information. The free app is the first of its kind available to members, allowing them to use their mobile phones as a convenient backup for their LifeWise member ID card to show proof of health coverage. Members can also instantly email their proof of coverage directly to providers from their phones while at the doctor’s office.

The free app is initially available for download on mobile devices powered by Apple®, Android® and Windows 7®. Instant access to all mobile features is also available by visiting www.lifewisewa.com on any smart phone. Additional device support and features will be available later this year.

The app also features a provider finder called “Find a Doctor.” In the future, LifeWise Mobile will integrate the company’s most popular features and services, giving members access to health benefits information on their mobile phones which was previously available only by logging into their accounts from their computers.
