Object Reservoir Appoints Dr. Mark Miller as Chief Technology Officer

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Object Reservoir, Inc. (OR) is pleased to announce that industry veteran Mark A. Miller, PhD, PE, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer of the company. As CTO and member of the executive team, Dr. Miller will be responsible for the strategic and tactical technical direction of the company.

Dr. Miller has nearly 40 years’ experience as a petroleum engineering practitioner and educator, specializing in reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, the reservoir engineering aspects of natural gas and naturally fractured reservoirs, thermal oil recovery, and petrophysics. After working for Getty Oil Company in a variety of petroleum engineering capacities, Dr. Miller earned a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Miller subsequently served on the Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering faculty of the University of Texas at Austin until establishing a consulting practice in 2001.

From 2002 to 2006, Dr. Miller served as Senior Reservoir Engineer for Object Reservoir before returning to his consulting practice. Since 2008, Dr. Miller has been the technology luminary formulating the company’s industry-leading shale gas reservoir engineering software, ORKA^® Limits^®. Joining Object Reservoir as CTO, Dr. Miller will have the lead role in further expanding the depth and breadth of OR’s technology.
