The suit, made with the Demron technology currently used in the nuclear radiation cleanups following the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster, is noted by governments and first responder organizations worldwide for its unique life-saving benefits.

Specifically, the anti-nuclear Demron-W suit received Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) Class 2 certification under the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) 1997-2007 Standard on Protective Ensembles for First Responders to Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Terrorism Incidents. It also received ISO 8194 certification for radiation protection clothing that guards against radioactive contamination. Ronald DeMeo, M.D., president and CEO of RST, donated more than 200 Demron Full-Body Suits and Torso Vests to help protect the first responders and nuclear workers in the Fukushima nuclear cleanups.
