CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--()--Modo Labs™, a leading provider of open source middleware for mobile platforms and devices, today announced a partnership with Korea Telecom (KT), NYSE: KTC, to localize the award-winning Kurogo™ Mobile Optimized Middleware™ in Korean. KT is the largest integrated wired/wireless telecommunication and high-speed Internet service provider in South Korea. Kurogo empowers software developers to build advanced mobile websites as well as native applications for the iPhone and iPad.

Working together, Modo Labs and KT will use the Korean localized version of Kurogo to develop new mobile solutions and modules. Kurogo provides a highly efficient and flexible way to create mobile applications, significantly reducing mobile development timelines from months to weeks. Initially based on the highly regarded MIT Mobile Framework, Kurogo has already been widely adopted by corporate enterprises and universities around the world. With the localized version of the framework, Kurogo will now become available to scores of Korean-speaking mobile developers.
