REDMOND, Wash.--()--Pentad Solutions LLC, a Redmond-based technical and analytics consulting company, recently announced a significant merger and re-alignment of its management team.

As of Tuesday, November 1, 2011, Pentad has agreed to merge with Octane Data LLC, a Kirkland-based data strategy and business intelligence consulting firm. Octane’s founder, Chad Richeson, will join the management team of the combined company, and expand its consulting lines to include data strategy, business intelligence, and business analytics.
Pentad Solutions also announced several management changes that take effect immediately:
- Chad Richeson, formerly Founder at Octane Data LLC, will become Chief Executive Officer of Pentad Solutions.
- John Bergen, President of Pentad Solutions, will retain responsibility for Pentad’s technical consulting division.
- Amanda Aasen, formerly Controller of Builders Capital, has joined Pentad as Controller and will oversee its financial functions.
