FRANKLIN, Tenn.--()--Vivere Health, a national leading network of Fertility Centers of Excellence dedicated to the highest quality patient care and outcomes, was honored as Middle Tennessee’s top health care startup in 2011 by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneur Center.
“It is an honor to be recognized as an innovator in the health care industry”
The recognition was part of the inaugural NEXT Awards, a partnership between the Chamber and Entrepreneur Center that honors the area’s most innovative companies and entrepreneurs making the most significant impact in five areas of business especially important to the Nashville economy: health care; technology; digital media and entertainment; sustainability and alternative energy; and social enterprise.
Joe Cashia, CEO of Vivere Health, received the award Tuesday night at a gala recognizing all of the 2011 NEXT Awards winners and finalists. Previously, in September, Vivere had been named one of five finalists in the health care startup category.
“It is an honor to be recognized as an innovator in the health care industry,” said Cashia. “Being selected as a NEXT Award winner is a testament to the unmatched quality provided by Vivere’s physician partnership model of developing fully-integrated Fertility Centers of Excellence. We are only at the beginning of our mission to create the nation’s largest network of fertility providers. Our employees, investors, physicians and partners are dedicated to providing unprecedented fertility services that help turn couples into families.”
Founded in 2010 by former National Renal Alliance CEO Joe Cashia, Vivere is a pioneering company in the growing field of reproductive medicine. Vivere partners with specialists in Reproductive Endocrinology to develop Ambulatory Surgery Centers and IVF Laboratories, creating jointly-owned Fertility Centers of Excellence (CoEs). This unique joint venture model helps generate revenue to fuel the growth of partnering physician fertility practices, while allowing physicians to focus on patient care and oversee the entire fertility treatment cycle, improving quality outcomes for patients.
