Quest Achieves Cisco Master Managed and Cloud Provider Certifications with Cisco Powered Managed Security and Cisco Powered Cloud Service (IaaS) Designations

Company Recognized for Expertise in Deploying and Managing Cisco Cloud Solutions

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--To support the expanding role of the network in deploying cloud services, Quest announced today it has achieved the Cisco Cloud Provider Certification with a Cisco Powered Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) designation as well as a Cisco® Master Managed Services Certification with Cisco Powered Managed Security designation.

The Cisco Cloud Provider Certification recognizes Quest’s investment in building, owning and operating its own data centers to offer QuestFlex® cloud services in a multitenant environment to end customers. Additionally, as a Cisco Powered IaaS designation, the QuestFlex® cloud offering is deployed using a Cisco validated infrastructure.

As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, Quest has demonstrated the ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, met stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and undergone an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor. Quest was also required to offer at least two managed services using the resources and procedures necessary to deploy, manage and support Cisco solutions. This certification recognizes Quest’s investment in the ITIL® processes, practices and tools necessary to provide high-quality managed services.

“As a Cisco Cloud Provider, Quest is addressing the needs of our customers to provide flexible and customized cloud solutions,” says Tim Burke, Quest President and CEO. “Whether they need shared or dedicated hosting or prefer a private or public cloud, QuestFlex® cloud services gives customers the options to choose the right cloud based IT services to meet their core business needs. Cisco’s Master Managed Services certification is an important achievement for Quest. This recognition demonstrates our managed IT and cloud services expertise on which our customers depend.”

“Quest’s investment in Cisco Certification ranks it among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deploy, manage and support services for multiple technologies,” said Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco.

The Cisco Cloud Partner Program empowers channel partners to build end-to-end cloud solutions and professional services practices based on Cisco cloud computing infrastructure. This program offers training based on Cisco best practices, tools, intellectual property as well as one-on-one mentoring to help channel partners as they enhance their competencies in selling and implementing end-to-end cloud services.
