HERNDON, Va.--()--The Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP), the only government-industry consortium focused on secure collaboration for aerospace and defense (A&D), today announced that FuGen Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of cloud-based federated identity management services, has joined the consortium as a Silver Member.
“Federated solutions are a priority for TSCP and we expect to learn from the experts at FuGen Solutions and integrate their knowledge into our specifications”
As a Silver Member, FuGen will play a critical role in developing and deploying commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that enable widespread adoption of TSCP specifications. In addition, FuGen will gain immediate visibility among the global TSCP community, significantly impacting time-to-market with solutions accredited against published specifications, and inclusion in the product catalog through CertiPath for products aligned to TSCP member needs. FuGen has already deployed its Multi-Domain Identity Services Platform™ (MISP®) to develop and test TSCP’s emerging standards.
“We are excited to share our platform and process with the TSCP community. Major organizations within industry verticals such as energy, financial services, government and insurance use our MISP platform to securely share personal identity information about employees, citizens, or users with outsourced service partners or cloud service providers” said Lena Kannappan, Founder and CEO of FuGen Solutions. “We now look forward to advancing the mission of the Aerospace and Defense sector.”
As security threats to critical assets around the world increase and become more sophisticated, the need for a common, robust approach to ensure proper protection of information escalates. TSCP’s core mission is dedicated to identifying and prioritizing requirements for all aspects of information-sharing, and then to develop and test specifications – from identity management, secure e-mail, information labeling and handling to document sharing with identity federation – for adoption by its member organizations and their supply chains.
“Federated solutions are a priority for TSCP and we expect to learn from the experts at FuGen Solutions and integrate their knowledge into our specifications,” said Philippe Laflandre, TSCP chairman. “We strongly believe that with all parties working together toward a common goal, we can reduce the risk of information security breaches, accelerate secure information sharing across A&D organizations and reduce overall program costs.”
