HAYWARD, Calif.--()--Applied Biomics, Inc., a leading Proteomics service provider, is pleased to announce the addition of iTRAQ® service (Isobaric Tags for Relative and Absolute Quantitation) to its proteomics line. This liquid-based proteomics platform is a nice complement to our well-established gel-based 2D DIGE service.
The newly added iTRAQ® service, combined with our proprietary sample preparation protocols, can simultaneously provide protein Quantitation and Identification in a single experiment. iTRAQ® utilizes isobaric tags to label peptides from a tryptic digestion, followed by fractionation using a Nano HPLC column. Each peptide then undergoes MS/MS sequencing to identify the proteins, and the iTRAQ tags release reporter ions to quantify the peptides in each sample.
Our iTRAQ® service benefits researchers in the following areas:
1) Low complexity samples with fewer than 10 proteins
2) Moderate complexity samples with very low protein amount such as IP or column purified protein complex
3) High complexity samples containing small peptides such as urine or culture media
We offer competitive prices and guarantee a one-week turn around time. Please refer to the following link for more information about the iTRAQ® service
