Constellation Wealth Advisors Tackles Unique Financial Challenges Facing Professional Athletes and Coaches

NEW YORK & MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Constellation Wealth Advisors, an independent multi-family investment office, today announced the launch of Constellation Sports Wealth Advisors to focus on the unique financial challenges facing professional athletes and coaches. This new initiative aims to ensure that the assets earned during an athlete’s relatively brief playing career are properly managed to support a financially secure and comfortable post-retirement lifestyle.

To launch this new sports-focused business, Constellation enlisted the sports business and marketing expertise of Seth Abraham, the man who brought boxing to HBO during his 24 years at Time Warner, where he was president of HBO Sports and CEO of Time Warner Sports. Later Abraham was president of Cablevision Systems' Madison Square Garden/Radio City Entertainment from 2000-2004. In 2005, after 36 years in the sports and media industries, Mr. Abraham started his own firm, Starship SA, to help companies develop new and creative marketing and execution strategies in the sports business.
