“Best of the Web” recognizes excellence of official web portals of U.S. cities, counties, and states. This year’s first place winner went to Arkansas.gov, with Utah, Indiana, Rhode Island, and Texas taking second through fifth places, respectively. All of the top five winners are partners of NIC. In addition, three NIC partners placed as “Best of the Web” finalists: Alabama, Kansas, and Tennessee.
