NIC portals take top five honors in Best of the Web competition

OLATHE, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NIC Inc. (NASDAQ: EGOV), the premier provider of eGovernment services, congratulates 11 of its state partners for taking top honors in the Center for Digital Government’s “Best of the Web” and Digital Government Achievement Awards.

“Best of the Web” recognizes excellence of official web portals of U.S. cities, counties, and states. This year’s first place winner went to Arkansas.gov, with Utah, Indiana, Rhode Island, and Texas taking second through fifth places, respectively. All of the top five winners are partners of NIC. In addition, three NIC partners placed as “Best of the Web” finalists: Alabama, Kansas, and Tennessee.
