Fitch Rates Goldman Sachs GS Trust, Series 2011-1G Floater & Residual Receipts & Grantor Trust Ctfs

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings assigns a rating of 'F1+/F1+' to the floater receipts, a rating of 'F1+' to the residual receipts and a rating of 'F1+' to the grantor trust certificates of the GS Trust, series 2011-1G. The 'F1+/F1+' rating assigned to the floater receipts is based on (i) the credit enhancement in the form of a deposit security guaranty (security guaranty) provided by The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (Goldman; rated 'A+/F1+', Stable Outlook) securing the notes deposited in the series trust; and (ii) the liquidity facility provided by Special Situations Investing Group, Inc., the obligations of which are guaranteed by Goldman pursuant to a liquidity guaranty. The 'F1+' ratings assigned to the residual receipts and the grantor trust certificates are based solely on the security guaranty. The ratings will expire on Nov. 23, 2011, the expiration date of the security guaranty and the liquidity guaranty.
