NAMCO BANDAI Games Brings Toss the Ball to Android and Apple® iOS

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that Toss the Ball, developed by Revo Solutions, is now accessible on Android. Recently released on Apple’s^® iOS devices includingiPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, today marks the official availability across multiple platforms. Toss the Ball is a family-friendly carnival-themed title featuring a unique combination of racetrack and skeeball-style games.

Players use the intuitive controls and swipe their finger anywhere on the platform to toss the ball, attempting to land them in the highest-scoring holes. Some holes also contain power-ups like the Instant Ball or Magnetism and bonuses like the Speed Bonus—both power-ups and bonuses help increase the player’s score. Racking up points will advance the character on the overhead racetrack towards the finish line. The winner of each match gets a bonus game such as spin the wheel or scratcher where they receive a prize like XP, a new ball or game board rental.

While the game concept is super simple, it offers plenty of replay value through extensive game modes, boards and balls. Up to six-player cross-platform multiplayer is supported online via Apple’s GameCenter or locally through WiFi or Bluetooth. Players can share their scores with worldwide leaderboard and achievement tracking.

Additional features include:

Four game modes including Rolling Race, Ball of Time, Chill Mode and Multiplayer
Five unlockable game boards including Speedy Board and Lover Board
Twelve unlockable balls including the Treasure Ball and Ninja Ball, each with their own special abilities

Toss the Ball is the first of several games published in a partnership with Revo Solutions, an established iOS and Android developer. "We wanted to create a game that reached the very essence of fun while keeping things casual, so we aimed to develop something that was perfect for playing anywhere, anytime,” explained the developer’s Business Development Manager, Andrei Hanganu. “Grandparents, parents, kids and even grandkids will enjoy it as there is something for everyone. Available for free on the Android Marketplace, Toss the Ball includes a premium upgrade for $0.99, giving access to all the boards and balls as the player levels up. The game follows the same pricing structure as a Universal App on Apple’s App Store, making it available for free followed by a $0.99 upgrade.
