MCLEAN, Va.--()--Former Wisconsin Secretary of the Department of Revenue Roger M. Ervin has joined LMI as Sector Vice President. Ervin brings to this new position substantial experience in private and federal public sector management, along with a unique understanding of state, local, and international matters.

Until January 2011 Ervin served as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, supervising 1,300 employees located in 29 offices with an annual operating budget of $160 million. Previously, he was appointed by President Clinton as the highest-ranking diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service. Before that he served as senior advisor, operations and policy, for the U.S. Department of State.
Ervin began his professional career as a policy advisor to members of the Senate and House of Representatives, where he served the Banking, Foreign Affairs and Judiciary Committees. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
