Imerys Taps BravoSolution for Vendor Performance Management

PARIS--()--Imerys, a world leader in industrial minerals with more than 240 offices in 47 countries across the globe, has selected BravoSolution, the spend analysis company, to manage risk across its 10,000-plus global supplier base.

BravoSolution has managed Imerys’ supplier base since 2008, helping the company reduce spend and minimise risks. More than 800 of Imerys’ separate product families are sourced through BravoSolution, which represents more than 50 percent of the company’s total spend.

Imerys selected BravoSolution for the company’s experience in providing comprehensive risk analysis across the entire supply chain. Through BravoSolution’s vendor performance management tool, Imerys receives increased visibility into:

  • Suppliers at risk for bankruptcy and logistics disruptions
  • Global economic risk, including currency fluctuations, commodity volatility and political instability
  • Product and component shortages and price increases

The tool has already increased the procurement team’s productivity and has proved to be a critical part of the company’s sustainability management.
