TOPEKA, Kan.--()--The state of Kansas has given their official website, Kansas.gov (http://www.kansas.gov), a complete refresh, including look and feel, content organization, new technologies, customized search, language translation, and improved mobile access.

“Kansas is considered the birthplace of eGovernment. For nearly 20 years, the state’s information portal, Kansas.gov, has provided citizens and businesses with efficient electronic access to Kansas government information and services,” said Governor Sam Brownback. “Today the site receives four million page views annually, and I know this new redesign will allow visitors to interact more efficiently with Kansas government.”
The new portal follows Governor Brownback’s graphics standards and sets the visual pathway for agency Web design. The site is fresh, has automatically-fed content and brings the “essence” of the state through vibrant photos of Kansas by Kansans. Website highlights include:
