Martin Investments's Assets under Management Exceed $200 million at end of June 2011

EVANSTON, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Martin Investment Management, LLC announces that assets under management reached a record level of $211 million at the end of June 2011. This represents a tripling of assets since the end of 2009. Investment asset growth came from new equity investment accounts, to additional investments from current relationships, in addition to the growth in the market value of the investments of client accounts.

The firm’s Long Term Growth Composite’s portfolio was a again a top ten performer, ranking eighth out of 55 firms, for the 3-years ending December 2010 in the Large Cap Core investment category in a survey by eVestment Alliance published in the February 2011 issue of the Emerging Manager Monthly.

For the 3-years ending June 2011 the firm’s Long Term Growth Composite achieved a before fee annual return of 4.5% versus the 3.3% return of the S&P 500 Index and the 3.7% return of the Russell 1000 Index.
