SAN FRANCISCO--()--For many, the number 13 conjures-up images of bad luck. Few buildings acknowledge they have a 13th floor, and many superstitious people stay locked in their houses on Friday the 13th. But RubyLane.com is celebrating their 13th year in business with great fanfare and a special promotion.
“Ruby Lane is known for its excellent traffic, quality standards, and for its ease of use for both buyers and sellers”
“As part of our Lucky Number 13 Anniversary, we are offering a special promotion - open a shop and the $75 set-up fee is waived. With our official anniversary in August, we wanted to start the celebrating early,” says Palmer Pekarek, Director of Communications and New Business Development on Ruby Lane.
Why open a Ruby Lane shop? Ruby Lane is one-stop shopping for antiques & art, vintage collectibles and jewelry. With considerable, highly targeted visitor traffic, Ruby Lane's shops get noticed. “Ruby Lane is known for its excellent traffic, quality standards, and for its ease of use for both buyers and sellers,” explains Pekarek.
Recently Ruby Lane introduced several new features to the site, including a new look to its item pages and the ability to Skype with customers. “We've added tools for sharing Ruby Lane items on your favorite social sites. We host a dynamic Facebook community as well as our blog, Notes from The Lane, and several more online networking sites,” says Pekarek.
It is really simple - new shop owners, who go to open their Ruby Lane shop, will not be charged a set-up fee. While new shops still must meet Ruby Lane guidelines, request to open by October 15th, and be approved, set-up is Free during this anniversary celebration.
“Come and help us celebrate our Lucky Number 13. With more than 2,220 shops and 430,000 items, tour Ruby Lane, and see why so many call it home and a great place to shop,” says Pekarek
