JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--()--Wounded Warrior Project™ announced today the election of two new members of its board of directors.
“His personal challenges and successes as a wounded veteran will no doubt provide valuable insight as we make critical decisions impacting the work we do every day to honor and empower wounded warriors.”
“Our 14 member board of directors represents a wide-range of backgrounds, industries, and life experiences,” said Wounded Warrior Project Executive Director Steve Nardizzi. “The additions of Robb Van Cleave and Justin Constantine will go a long way in enhancing this already diverse, strong, and committed group.”
Robb E. Van Cleave is the immediate past chair of the international board of directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). SHRM is the world’s largest professional association devoted to human resource management and is the eighth largest association in the United States. In addition to serving on the SHRM board of directors, Van Cleave currently serves as vice chair on the SAIF Corporation board of directors. In addition to his certification as a senior professional in human resources, he is also a certified professional with the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-CP). Van Cleave received his bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University.
“Robb brings a unique perspective to the board, with his extensive human resources background, prior non-profit experience and having served as an elected public official for over 15 years,” Nardizzi said.
Justin Constantine is an accomplished attorney with 12 years of broad U.S. military and federal service, focusing on drafting legislation, conducting criminal trial work, implementing appellate-level immigration law, reviewing government contracts, and developing policy. Constantine currently works for the Department of Justice on counterterrorism issues, in a position he describes as “a perfect fit” for him. He also serves as the founder and president of Got Pride, LLC, a company that serves to raise awareness of available veterans’ resources. Constantine has previously held positions with the U.S. Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, and the United States Marine Corps. He received his Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver School of Law. Constantine’s personal military decorations include the Purple Heart, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), and the Combat Action Ribbon.
“Justin has a proven and superb track record of meeting critical deadlines, providing top-quality work products and training and leading Marines under fire in real-world combat situations,” Nardizzi continued. “His personal challenges and successes as a wounded veteran will no doubt provide valuable insight as we make critical decisions impacting the work we do every day to honor and empower wounded warriors.”
