Push Technology Appoints Senior Executives to Support Continued Growth in Key Financial, eGaming and Retail Sectors

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Push Technology Ltd, the leading specialist provider of high performance enterprise messaging and Internet communications solutions, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Colin Magee as Head of Sales and Nick West as Head of Delivery. They will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued development as it enters its next major growth phase, increasing penetration in its key financial services, eGaming and retail markets.

Push Technology has grown quickly to become a leader in the provision of real-time push engine solutions, increasingly establishing its Diffusion technology as the de facto choice for organisations with mission-critical enterprise messaging applications. The company grew revenues by some 400 percent over the last year.

Colin Magee brings over 20 years’ senior-level sales leadership experience to the Push Technology team, with a proven track record of building successful software sales teams and growing revenues for fast-growing organisations across the UK, Europe and the US. He joins Push Technology from his previous position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Revolution Computing, where he built the sales team from scratch through to the business being valued at around $30 million at second round funding. Earlier he spent six years with Insightful Corporation, now Tibco-Spotfire, where as Vice President Europe he grew revenues by over 300 percent.

Having previously held senior technology leadership positions with Ladbrokes eGaming, Lebara Mobile and Electronic Arts, Nick West brings unrivalled industry expertise to his new role as Head of Delivery at Push Technology. As the CTO of the Ladbrokes eGaming business he had the key mandate of delivering high availability and optimally performing platforms, while at Lebara Mobile, Nick was responsible for delivering the technology that supported the company’s transformation of the international calling market. Before that Nick held the position of Director of Infrastructure and Operations for video-gaming giant Electronic Arts in Europe.
