The new Mobile Reference Apps, included with Squeeze Server (Squeeze Server On-Premise and the cloud-based Squeeze Solution Pack) enable users to easily capture video content from any major mobile device – including iPhones and Android-based phones and tablets. The content can then be uploaded, encoded and published to virtually any destination, including content delivery networks (CDNs), online video platforms (OVPs), or any selected folder or over entire networks.

Sorenson Squeeze Server, built on the gold-standard Sorenson Squeeze encoding engine, is a high-volume video encoding solution that can be easily scaled up and down according to a user’s variable encoding and transcoding needs and employs video encoding presets, created by encoding experts, to increase the quality of the video encoding process.

Sorenson Media’s Mobile Reference Apps provide users with significant advantages compared with conventional options. With Mobile Reference Apps, once the video content has been captured, the process of encoding the video content from its native format is performed with Squeeze Server rather than directly on the user’s device.
