ECCE v2 is a fully functional Equipment Data Acquisition (EDA) client that can communicate with web services that comply with the E125, E132, and E134 SEMI Interface A (EDA) standards. ECCE v2 also implements the required consumer web service for receiving messages from the Interface A web services.

Cimetrix developed ECCE in cooperation with the International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative (ISMI). ISMI member companies provided feature requirements. ECCE v2 supports both the 1105 freeze version, as well as the newer 0710 freeze version, of EDA, and includes an equipment simulator. Using ECCE v2, which includes an equipment simulator, OEMs can verify the EDA/Interface A functionality they have implemented complies with ISMI standards.
