NNIT and NextDocs Announce Partnership to Bring Document Management Solutions to Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Europe

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--()--NextDocs Corporation, the global leader in Microsoft SharePoint based software solutions for life sciences industries, today announced their new partnership with NNIT to provide document management solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

As part of this partnership, NextDocs and NNIT will provide NextDocs’ Document Management System to life sciences companies based in Europe. In addition, NextDocs will provide software licenses and solutions to European customers, while NNIT will provide associated services for NextDocs solution implementations, including business consulting, system integration, training, operation, and validation.

“Many pharmaceutical companies are accelerating international research and development. As a result, an increasing number of pharmaceutical products are submitted to respective regulatory bodies and require consistency, maintenance and compliance with the regulatory requirements of a global market,” explains Zikria Syed, Chief Executive Officer of NextDocs. “This partnership is part of NNIT’s ongoing efforts to strengthen solutions in pharmaceutical research and development and offers NextDocs the opportunity to showcase our solution to European customers as Software as a Service (SAAS) via the GxP Enterprise Cloud. To date, our NextDocs Document Management System has been adopted by more than 60 pharmaceutical and medical device companies around the world, and with this partnership, we look forward to building on this momentum.”

The NextDocs Document Management Solution platform contains out-of-the-box software solutions which make it easier for life sciences companies to manage clinical, submission, quality, manufacturing and marketing documentation. It is compliant with international drug legislation--specifically FDA 21 CFR PART 11—the relevant U.S. laws on electronic records and electronic signatures, as well as the Good Practices on Drug Development, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales (GxP). The NextDocs Document Management System runs on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

Customers using NextDocs Document Management Solution are able to reduce costs for program development and shorten times for implementation by using NextDocs’ standard functions and content management functions of Microsoft SharePoint Server.

NNIT has a strong reputation in pharmaceutical IT and delivers total solutions for all business processes of pharmaceutical manufacturers, including research and development, production, logistics, marketing and sales. Along with its extensive experience with designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint solutions, NNIT has considerable expertise in regulation consulting, business process consulting, and system implementation.

Karel Crombach, EMEA Industry Market Development Director at Microsoft Corporation, says, “Microsoft welcomes the partnership between NNIT and NextDocs Corporation as the document management solution for pharmaceutical manufacturers. NextDocs Document Management System, which runs on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, has been adopted by large pharmaceutical companies, and European pharmaceutical customers’ interest in NextDocs continues to increase.
