CINCINNATI--()--On Thursday, September 8, 2011, The Standard’s Volunteer Expo is coming to Fountain Square and will feature more than 40 nonprofits in a single location. This new event provides the public and employees of The Standard unparalleled opportunities to learn about local nonprofits and discover how to make a difference in the community. Representatives from a diverse range of nonprofit organizations will help attendees learn more and maybe even find the perfect match for their time, skills and interests.

With more than 40 participating nonprofits, the 2011 Expo will be one of the largest volunteer expos in Ohio. The Expo will be open to the public and held in Cincinnati’s Fountain Square.

The 2011 Volunteer Expo takes place Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Fountain Square, located at the intersection of Fifth and Vine Streets in downtown Cincinnati. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
