WASHINGTON--()--The Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the USA are proud to announce recent upgrades in computer systems nationwide to enhance programs and services offered to combat wounded and disabled service men and women and their family members.

The organization-wide upgrade includes 150 new Dell computers, laptops, software and networking capabilities for all of the Service Officers and their administrative staff nationwide, as well as the Purple Heart headquarters staff.
"The $175K investment in equipment and software will pay immediate dividends as the National Service Officers will be able to manage the necessary administrative process used to assist veterans filing claims more efficiently and effectively and the Purple Heart to manage the $12M annual grant from the Service Foundation," stated Board President, Jim Blaylock. "Having the proper tools to complete the job successfully is key to our effectiveness in reaching out to and supporting combat wounded veterans and their families," added National Commander, Clayton Jones.
