Mayo Clinic Holds Grand Opening for Radiation Oncology Treatment Center in Northfield

WHAT:						Grand opening ceremony for new 13,000-square-foot radiation oncology treatment center in Northfield, Minn.

WHO:						Mayo Clinic radiation oncology leaders and staff, Northfield Mayor Mary Rossing and leaders from St. Olaf College and Northfield Hospital and Clinics.

WHEN:						Monday, June 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. Media tour at 11 a.m.

WHERE:						1821 North Ave., Northfield, Minn.

NOTE:						The center meets the requirements of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program. It was built with energy savings, water efficiency, CO₂ emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality and stewardship of resources in mind. The facility employs 12 people.
