Ecolab Earns “International Carbon-value Innovative Value Award” at the 4th Annual World Economic and Environmental Conference

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ecolab Inc. has received an award at the 4th annual World Economic and Environmental Conference in Qingdao, China for its work to reduce carbon emissions, improve carbon efficiency and find new ways to operate in more environmentally responsible ways.

The conference and award selection process were jointly organized by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and International Energy Conservation Environmental Protection Association (IEEPA). It is the first time this award was organized. Ecolab was named an award winner following a comprehensive selection process that consisted of expert committee assessments and public participation.

The “International Carbon-value Innovative Value Award” was presented to Ecolab in recognition of its contributions to policy, management and technological and market innovations that have helped improve carbon efficiency and create value for the manufacturing industry as a whole.
