The new version allows users to remotely observe scripts running on devices to verify normal functioning. Users can control and track all the features of a smartphone and download and interact with mobile applications in real time.
New scripting interface that is purpose-built for smartphones: The enhanced version will include self-service scripting allowing users to shorten the time needed to deploy scripts and accurately test use cases. With point and click scripting users can easily record each step of a test case and playback the scenario at any time. Users can record any touchscreen gesture and accelerometer event supported by the smartphone application and then store it in a shared script repository for cross-enterprise collaboration.
Intelligence comes standard: Mobile Device Perspective is built to support the entire lifecycle of a mobile application. A new dashboard features one-click drill-down for screenshot analysis and a new automatic video feature will come standard during script execution making collaboration much easier.
