Canvys Announces New Image Systems X Series Medical LCDs at SIIM 2011

LAFOX, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Canvys^®, a division of Richardson Electronics, Ltd., announces the release of the Image Systems X Series diagnostic and clinical imaging LCD displays for the healthcare industry at SIIM 2011 (Booth 719-721). The Image Systems X Series medical monitors have been re-defined, re-designed, and re-engineered. The X Series raises the standard in medical imaging by delivering outstanding display performance coupled with cutting edge technology.

All Image Systems X series include both front (of screen) and rear (backlight) luminance sensors for precise, automatic, hands-free luminance and DICOM® 3.14 calibration over the life of the display. Additional features include an ambient sensor positioned on top of the monitor, a 14-bit precision look-up table, digital luminance uniformity correction, bottom-of-bezel LED lamps for localized table top reading, and broad connectivity and graphic card compatibility. The intelligent power management functionality allows for less than ONE watt power consumption when the system is not in use (power saving mode).

The Canvys booth (719-721) at SIIM 2011 will also feature WIDE Corporation’s new MW100 – a 30-inch 10 MP LCD display for Mammography. The display offers visual performance and quality in a bezel free view and is fully compatible with CFS calibration software. It features:
