SDP Telecom, Inc. Names Johns Hopkins University Dean Yash Gupta to Serve as Chief Executive Officer

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SDP Telecom, Inc. today announced that its Board of Directors has named Yash Gupta to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Yash Gupta is currently the dean of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He has served as dean of business schools at four major research universities for over 17 years. He has held professorial and leadership positions in Canada and the United States for the last 30 years. He brings extensive experience managing large complex, and start-up organizations. He has been described as a visionary, innovative and entrepreneurial leader.

Dr Gupta earned a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Bradford, England (1976). He also holds an M.Tech, Production Management from Brunel University, and a B.Sc. (Engineering) from Panjab University, India. He is a registered professional engineer in the Province of Manitoba, Canada.
